About Department

On July 1, 2022, a new structural division appeared at the ESC IASA - the Department of Artificial Intelligence, which carries out educational, methodological and scientific activities in the specialty 122 "Computer Sciences".

The Department of Artificial Intelligence focuses on students obtaining a thorough system of knowledge and training professionals up to modern trends in artificial intelligence. The main goal of the department is to train professionals capable of developing, implementing, and supporting intelligent decision-making systems and data analysis and processing systems in organizational, technical, financial, and natural systems; perform scientific research, production- technical and organizational-management activities in AI systems and technologies and large databases and their application in systems of recognition of images and speech signals and in the field of machine learning.

The educational programs of the Department of Artificial Intelligence are unique and innovative, because they provide for the training of applicants together with leading employers in the field of information technologies specializing in artificial intelligence research. This gives students the opportunity to learn in a real-world environment, and employers to get graduates who meet all their requirements.

The uniqueness of the educational programs is the combination of theoretical knowledge formed and developed in the relevant scientific schools and reflected in the educational component of training, with practical skills supported by WDC-Ukraine, Corporation "Science Park "Kyiv Polytechnic" ", and ESC IASA. Not only teachers, but also qualified mentors from employer organizations help applicants to carry out advanced research tasks in accordance with the agreed training and research programs.
